The small but fine team around Dr. Matthias Pollmeier and Uwe Balzuweit invited us to give another 3 Helping Hands on October 14th. put together in Monheim and then send on the journey to Zimbabwe. The cooperation was already exceptionally fair and open in the run-up to the meeting in person on October 14th. confirmed.
The members of the team were all exceptionally interested and, through many questions, showed that they had already dealt intensively with the topic of helping hands and the problem of landmines in advance. In such small groups as at this event, the questions and discussions about the project are often very personal and show how much people are affected by it in our everyday lives. And even if the employer, in this case Bayer Animal Health GmbH, bears the costs for the hand prostheses, the working hours and our own costs, you can clearly feel that each individual is personally committed and wants to help.
